Biography:

Josephine L. McKee has been writing since early childhood. She has worked as a colorist for many interior design projects. She has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design Interior Architecture Department, as well as School of Visual Arts and museums in New York City.  Honors that she has received include a manuscript that was shortlisted for the Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction, judged by Barbara Kingsolver. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and MFA in Painting from the University of Pennsylvania. Her writing has been published in periodicals, including “The Brooklyn Rail”. She lives in Vermont, her home state.
